These esteemed women in leadership bring a wealth of experience, expertise, and passion to our organization, and their addition to the board will undoubtedly strengthen our mission to inspire and support the dreams of tomorrow's leaders.
In addition to welcoming our new board members, Dream Mentorship is delighted to present the 2023-2024 Executive Board of Directors:
Christie Clifton, Ph.D.: Christie began her journey with a certification in Yoga but quickly expanded her teaching to encompass various fitness formats like bootcamp, cycle, Pilates, and more. These experiences led her to a career in holistic health and movement. As an assistant professor, Dr. Christie Clifton bridges the gap between the scientific and medical communities, engaging in research and educating professional and public forums about non-traditional pharmaceutical approaches to address chronic diseases.
Dionne Rosser-Mims, Ph.D.: Dr. Dionne Rosser-Mims is a full professor of adult education and the Vice Chancellor of the Troy University Phenix City Campus. With over two decades of experience in adult education, including collegiate teaching, training, and extensive international-related work, she brings a wealth of knowledge to the field.
Funlola Gaddis: A Nurse Practitioner with Spelman College, Funlola explores her interests in medical practice, fitness, and music. Her multifaceted expertise and passions span across these diverse areas. Also, with years of experience in event planning and decorating, Funlola adds value to the many annual programs at Dream Mentorship.
Jennifer Nay, MBA: Jennifer is a serial successful entrepreneur currently serving as the Entrepreneur in Residence at Auburn University's New Venture Accelerator. She holds certifications in QuickBooks and Spinning. Jennifer is passionate about finance, pitch decks, developing budding entrepreneurs, and Human Resources. Her extensive entrepreneurial experience and passion for mentorship make her a valuable asset to our community.
Pam Davis: With two decades of experience in recruiting, managing, and developing teams, Pam has a rich background as an engineer in top engineering firms and as a senior sales director for Mary Kay. She is known for her forward-thinking approach, adaptability, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail. Pam excels in multitasking, time management, and possesses expert communication and relationship management abilities, particularly in sales and lead generation.
Shenicka Hohenkirk, MPA: Shenicka currently serves as the Director of Outreach and Constituent Services for State Senator Mike Simmons. Her career in public service has grown into a passionate commitment to Federal, State, and Local Government.
Each of these exceptional individuals bring a unique blend of experience, expertise, and passion to our organization. Their diverse backgrounds and shared commitment to our mission will undoubtedly drive us forward. As visionary leaders, they will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Dream Mentorship. They are entrusted with providing strategic direction and leadership to ensure that Dream Mentorship continues to excel in mentorship, education, and empowerment.
